The Brown County Fair will still be taking place this year however some changes have been announced by the County’s Veteran Service Office.
According to Director Joe Aulik, the Veterans Day Tent at the Fair has been cancelled, however veterans will still be able to gain entry to the fairgrounds at no cost on August 23rd along with one guest.
The tent was going to provide information to veterans regarding benefits, and other things.
Veterans who wish to take advantage of the free admission simply need to enter through the South gate, and present their Military, Veteran, or VA Health Care ID, a License Veteran Identifier, your DD 214, or discharge certificate.
This will only gain you entrance to the fair, with rides still costing the normal amount. The Brown County Fair will be taking place August 19th through the 23rd.
