You’ll soon be seeing some construction going on in Citizen Park.
The Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center has announced it’ll be breaking ground this Friday morning on the Phase-3 capital campaign Addition.
Friends’ Board President, Amy Fricke-Weigel, Said in a news release the new addition will see a warming pool with hot-tub atmosphere, splash pad with multiple spray features and a reservable shelter for private events.
The groundbreaking celebration at 10am Friday will be a private event due to the current pandemic situation, but community members and donors are encouraged to watch it live on the ‘Friends of the Manitowoc Family Aquatic Center Board Inc. Facebook page, and on YouTube afterwards.
