A Green Bay manufacturer has received $2.75 million from the federal government to produce more materials for PPE.
NPS Corporation is located at 3303 Spirit Way in Green Bay, and according to their website, they produce wipes, towels, tissues, and spill control items, and their meltblown material is a key component to the creation of masks.
The 400 employee company will be distributing material to mask producers nationwide. They even estimate that with their material, 60 million N95 masks can be produced every month.
The grant money is reportedly going to be used to pay for new machinery, materials, and labor.
