The N.E.W. Zoological Society has announced a new contest open to all called A Feast (of Art!) for the Beasts.
The N.E.W. Zoological Society’s annual fundraising events, Feast for the Beasts and the Skunks are Beautiful Cribbage Tournament, were both cancelled this year due to COVID-19, and they rely on funds raised from these events to keep the Zoo open.
This new fundraiser is a new opportunity for the public to get involved in supporting the NEW Zoo, while still having fun from home.
The Society is currently seeking submissions of photographs and other artwork to create a calendar. All entries must depict a species or individual animal from the NEW Zoo, and are due by August 15th. Twelve winners will be selected and notified by August 30.
Eleven winners will receive four Day Pass admission tickets to the NEW Zoo (for 2 adults and 2 children; value of $34), and one winner whose entry will be featured on the calendar cover will receive a Family Plus Zoo Membership (value of $75).
