The average price per gallon of gas in Manitowoc County fell six cents since last week, the sharpest fall of any of the surrounding counties in Eastern Wisconsin.
Motorists are now paying on average $2.06 in Manitowoc County, while in Sheboygan County, the price fell 2 cents to $2.08.
Calumet County saw a similar decline to $1.98, and Outagamie County still boasts the lowest price in the area at $1.91, a drop of 4 cents.
Brown County motorists are paying 3 cents less per gallon this week, down to $2.02, Kewaunee County is down 4 cents to $2.05, and Door County still has the highest price in the area at $2.12, a decline of 2 cents.
The average price per gallon in the state didn’t fall very far either, 2 cents to be exact, to $2.07, while nationally the average fell one penny to $2.18.
