A young woman will face charges after an altercation in which she allegedly spit at police officers in Manitowoc.
City police were called just after 2:00 Friday morning to the 1100 block of South 20th Street to break up a dispute between a man and Labrisha Patton.
The 20 year old Patton was said to be unruly with officers, yelling and cursing at them. She resisted officers while they put her in handcuffs and leg restraints, and spit on them.
Patton was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting an officer, and three counts of discharging bodily fluids at officers. She had a bail hearing this afternoon and was set free on $1500 signature bond.
Conditions of bond include absolute sobriety from alcohol and drugs.
