The Two Rivers City Council will be holding a work session meeting in the Council Chambers this evening.
At the 6:00 PM meeting, the Council will be discussing park shelter fees and the consistency of these charges, and concerns about the safety of the intersection of 22nd and Washington Streets. Improvements to the East River Street/Lower Jefferson Street corridor will also be considered before they enter a closed session.
During that session, the council will be discussing matters pertaining to city assistance for economic development projects, including the former Paragon Partners property and the site where the Culver’s restaurant was going to be.
Then they will talk about a proposal to purchase the City’s claim in bankruptcy proceedings filed by Frontier Communications.
