Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul, Congresswoman Gwen Moore, Mayor Tom Barrett and several Milwaukee officials have been invited to a special meeting this morning to discuss federal officers who went sent to deal with violent crime.
Governor Tom Evers has already said the feds aren’t welcome.
The Milwaukee Common Council Public Safety and Health Committee is meeting to talk about what the decision means to the public and what the city should do.
The meeting was called just prior to the August recess because there was no communication with local officials before the decision was made.
