Four players who could be cut loose to deal with the problem are Packers Christian Kirksey, Dean Lowry, Billy Turner and Rick Wagner. Spotrac reports that would save a little over $17 million.
Za’Darius Smith’s contract could be restructured and Davante Adams could be signed to a contract extension – pushing the money he’s owed ahead to years when the salary cap pressure is eased.
