Wisconsin Badgers senior quarterback Jack Coan is on another watch list – this one for the Maxwell Award.
That award goes to the top F-B-S college football player for the season.
Last year’s winner of the Maxwell was L-S-U quarterback Joe Burrow.
Fifteen players from the Big Ten Conference are on the watch list, including a surprising three from Indiana. Minnesota, Penn State and Ohio State had two each.
Coan is coming off a junior season that saw him complete almost 70 percent of his passes for more than 2,700 yards and 18 touchdowns.
