The Manitowoc County Board has canceled the meeting they had planned for next week to discuss the countywide mask policy.
County Board Chairman Jim Brey said in a news release, “While I am a proponent of wearing masks in public settings or where there are large gatherings of people, I have decided to postpone the special County Board meeting for Tuesday.”
Brey said he will be meeting with department heads, constitutional officers, and Circuit Court judges to discuss what has already been done, and what else needs to be done before bringing his findings to the County Board.
Brey also said, “This pandemic is real. We all hope that it will come to an end sooner rather than later, but we all have to do our part to make that happen.”
