The big deal isn’t that the Green Bay Packers have agreed to pay rookie quarterback Jordan Love more than 12 million dollars over the next four years.
The big deal is – that money is guaranteed. The N-F-L Network reports that’s the first time the 26th overall pick in its annual draft has received a fully-guaranteed rookie contract.
Love’s cap hit will be two-point-two million dollars in 2020 and it runs through the 2023 season – the same year Aaron Rodgers’ agreement with the team runs its course.
