The Milwaukee Brewers showed some muscle with four home runs in a 5-3 exhibition victory over the White Sox Wednesday night.
Keston Hiura, Christian Yelich, Ben Gamel and Orlando Arcia all went deep. Hiura and Manny Pina each had two hits.
Adrian Houser started and pitched four-and-two-thirds solid innings.
The game was stopped after the top of the ninth because both teams were out of pitchers – with seven taking the mound for Milwaukee.
The Brewers work out today (Thursday) at Wrigley Field, then open the season there Friday against the Cubs.
Slugger Ryan Braun is on the team’s initial 30-man roster and could be in the lineup for the opener.
