The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office is confirming that one tornado touched down in Cadott Tuesday night.
No deaths or injuries have been reported, but there is plenty of damage.
There are also reports of funnel clouds or possible tornadoes in other western Wisconsin communities, but those haven’t been confirmed yet.
Spotters reported unconfirmed tornadoes in Polk and Burnett counties between 4:00 and 4:30 p-m.
The National Weather Service will work on confirming those reports today (Wednesday).
Tornado sirens sounded multiple times over the region as the storms passed through.
