Wisconsin’s housing market performed “far better than expected” in June.
Statistics from the Wisconsin Realtors Association show existing home sales down just 4.5% compared to that same month in 2019. And, median prices rose 3.6% to $222,000 over the same 12-month period.
Locally the number of home sales in Manitowoc County ‘increased’ by 21% in June to 126, while the median price dropped almost 5% to $129, 400.
The W-R-A analysis also revealed the year-to-date median price in the county went-up 12% through the first 6-months compared to last year to $128,80 but, sales fell by nearly 6% in the first half of the year when matched with 2019.
