The NEW Zoo and Adventure Park is preparing to host their Mad City Monkey Madness event this Saturday.
Monkey Madness will include monkey-themed educational opportunities and a real, live monkey bubble bath in the Japanese macaque habitat.
A “human-sized” monkey mascot will also be available for photo opportunities, along with the Man in the Yellow Hat. Their Animal Care team will even be preparing special treats for the macaque troop and delivering them to the monkeys during this special event.
The event is free with regular zoo admission, and will run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Social distancing and other COVID-19-related safety measures will be maintained during all event activities, with masks encouraged, but not required.
