An 18 year old Green Bay man is facing multiple charges after he led Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high speed chase which spanned three communities.
Reports indicate the chase began when a Deputy spotted a truck in Bellevue Saturday morning that was the subject of reckless driving complaints, and engaged his lights.
The driver, who was later identified as Dakota Klees, sped off in the truck, which was reportedly stolen. Klees reached speeds of 104 mph while blowing through stop signs, and weaving through traffic, before entering a residential neighborhood, and the chase ended due to the risk involved.
The truck was found later in Ledgeview shortly after the chase ended. Klees and three other suspects ranging in age from 12-14 were found hiding in the woods nearby.
Klees is facing nearly a dozen felonies, and had his bail set at $20,000 cash.
