A home in Sheboygan sustained significant damage from a fire Monday afternoon.
Reports indicate that the Sheboygan Fire Department was called to the home on Bell Avenue at around 4:00 PM, and saw heavy smoke emitting from the roof.
The flames were located on the first floor of the home and quickly extinguished.
The one canine that lived at the residence was saved, but the five felines were not. No human injuries were reported as no one was home at the time.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation, with the damage estimated to be around $30,000 worth.
