The N-F-L Players Association is said to be considering an offer from the league that would include no preseason games.
The offer hasn’t been officially announced, but if accepted, it would be a major move toward starting the 2020 season on time.
N-F-L rookies for most teams report to camp today (Tuesday), though Green Bay Packers rookies have until Thursday.
Before then, the Packers infectious disease emergency response plan has to be approved by the union.
That includes COVID-19 prevention, testing, and the management of positive cases.
