
The man who is accused of shooting his father back in March has pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.
Sedric King is facing a charge of Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide after he allegedly shot his father, Dennis James in the hip with a .45 caliber handgun.
The incident occurred on March 16th at James’ residence on Santa Barbra Drive.
James told officers that the two were arguing about an electrical fuse box prior to the shooting.
He was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
