Generally speaking, Eastern Wisconsin has seen a slight decline in gas prices over the past week.
Manitowoc County motorists are paying a nickel less this week, averaging $2.12 per gallon, while in Sheboygan County, the price fell by only a penny to $2.10.
Calumet County saw the steepest decline, 12 cents down to an even $2.00, but they are not the county with the lowest price in the area. That distinction belongs to Outagamie County, who has an average $1.95, a decline of 5 cents.
Brown County saw a slight fall in price, 3 cents to be precise, down to $2.05, however in Kewaunee County, everything stayed the same, with gas remaining at $2.09.
The only County in the area that saw a rise in price is Door County, which saw a one penny rise to $2.14.
The trend in our area was mirrored statewide, with the average price per gallon sitting at $2.09, three cents cheaper than last week.
Nationally, the average gas price only fell by one cent to $2.19.
