A 50-year old Manitowoc woman was arrested early last (Sunday) evening on the city’s southside following the report of a family trouble.
Police were summoned to the 800 block of Wilson Street and took the female subject into custody on charges of Resisting an Officer and Disorderly Conduct, with a Domestic Violence order.
The woman’s husband told arriving officers that his wife became upset with him after she consumed a large amount of wine and then demanded the car keys so she could leave.
He refused her request at which point she allegedly went into the house and began to break items including a table, picture frames and plants.
The subject’s spouse said he feared for his life and even brought his firearm outside to his car, locking the weapon in the glove box.
Once police were on the scene, the woman repeatedly refused to cooperate with officers commands.
