A Green Bay man has been arrested after he allegedly conspired with a waitress to steal credit card information from customers.
An investigation was started after two men reported suspicious activity on their cards to police.
The Buffalo Wild Wings in Ashwaubenon told officers that they had one waitress who had multiple complaints against her for credit card issues. When interviewed by police, she told officers that 27 year old Brandon Washington told her he would give her $100 for every 10 cards she stole.
She did this by simply taking pictures of the cards on her phone, as well as the customer’s ID card. A search on Washington’s residence uncovered about 1,000 blank checks with nobody’s name on them, a credit card skimmer, and a variety of credit cards.
Washington is now facing 21 separate charges in the case, and is being held on a $25,000 cash bond. At this time the waitress has not been charged.
