The Waldo Boulevard project continues to make great progress.
Pavement is scheduled to be poured at the intersection with North 23rd Street on Friday July 17th, which means traffic will not be able to pass through at that location.
Dan Koski, the Director of Public Infrastructure, is advising motorists that they will have to detour on Menasha Avenue, either to North Rapids Road, or to Waldo Blvd. The good news is that closure is only going to last one day, and traffic will be able to pass through the intersection again on Saturday.
Additionally, all lanes of traffic at North Rapids Road and Waldo Blvd are expected to be available by Friday, which will help accommodate the additional traffic at the intersection.
