The Manitowoc Fire and Rescue Department responded to 57-fire calls and 405 EMS situations in the month of June.
According to data provided to the City Police and Fire Commission meeting, there have been a total of 13 vehicle and structure fires, with the year to date loss at nearly $2.5 million.
The monthly report for the Police Department shows adult criminal charges last month totaled 8-hundred-72, compared to 807 in June 2019. Juvenile criminal charges also climbed from 77 a year ago, to 87 last month.
Traffic citations fell from 1,691 to 1,016 during the same monthly period. And, traffic accidents in the city rose slightly from 89 to 94, but for the year-to-date actually dropped by 116 over the first half of the year.
