For the first time in over a week, the number of recoveries from COVID-19 outweighed the number of new cases in Manitowoc County.
Three new cases were reported yesterday, and four more people are now listed as fully recovered. Since the County only declares someone recovered after one month of having the virus, more and more recoveries are expected over the next few weeks.
Manitowoc County now has a total of 165 cases, 46 recoveries, 118 active cases, and 7,587 negative results, after 366 more were reported yesterday.
Meanwhile in Sheboygan County, the story is quite different. 16 more cases were confirmed, and only 3 people were added to the recovery column. This leaves them with 337 total cases, 104 of which are active as 229 people have recovered, and four have died.
Also, a whopping 520 more negative tests came back, raising that number to 13,261.
