While Monroe police were taking a 34-year-old suspect into custody for a Sunday disturbance, a check revealed there was a felony warrant for his arrest from Illinois.
A Monroe business had called for help because it said a customer was causing problems.
Micheal E. Hoffman of Shannon, Illinois was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and obstructing.
Hoffman is being held in the Green County Jail pending his extradition back to Illinois.
