A Manitowoc man is facing charges after he allegedly pointed a gun at a couple of people in his home.
Officers were dispatched to the home in the 1500 block of South 16th Street at around 9:00 Friday evening after the caller claimed the 47 year old man had pointed a gun at people and was acting crazy.
One woman, who was locked in her room when police arrived, told the officers that she was at the residence the suspect, and two others and they had been drinking. She had gone to bed when the suspect allegedly pulled a gun and pointed it at the two victims.
When the officers made contact with the suspect, he claimed it was a squirt gun that he had thrown in the back yard, but no squirt gun was found. He is facing a single charge of Recklessly Endangering Safety.
