The Manitowoc Bandits baseball team is starting to assert their dominance over the Shoreland League.
Following a 4-2 come from behind victory on Friday over the Menasha Macs, the Bandits came out swinging against the Branch Blaze.
The offence for the Manitowoc squad was on full display, scoring 2 runs in the first inning, 3 in the third, 6 in the fourth and 1 more in the 5th.According to Coach Chris Cisler, 1st baseman Chris Rohr had a great day at the plate going 3-5 with a double and 6 RBIs.
Adam Deidrich got the win from the mound, throwing 5 innings giving up 1 run on 3 hits and 7 K’s. Noah Jacquart finished the last 2 innings with 1 run on 4 hits with 4K’s.
The Bandits are now 6-2 on the season, and have two more league games scheduled for this week. First up will be a road game against the Casco Athletics on Wednesday, followed by a home game against the Algoma Guins on Thursday.
