A Manitowoc police lieutenant said this morning that a 33-year old man being sought on a criminal warrant is in custody.
Jeremiah Dangerfield was apprehended yesterday and taken to the Manitowoc County Jail. Dangerfield had been sought for disorderly conduct and bail jumping following a domestic dispute in the city late Wednesday night.
Police were told by a woman that the suspect allegedly put his hands around her neck and held her down on a bed, while yelling at her.
The female informed authorities that she was walking home from a bar & expressed fear that Dangerfield would attack her.
Bail update:
33-year old Jeremiah Dangerfield appeared in Manitowoc County Court and was freed on $300 cash bail. He had been charged following a domestic dispute where he allegedly assaulted and threatened a woman. Conditions of bail are that he have no contact with the victim, her children, or their residence.
