The pickup driver who fatally injured a six-year-old girl as she boarded her school bus last winter has been cited and fined in Waushara County.
76-year-old Carl L. Mullenix has entered a plea of not guilty against the four citations and has requested a jury trial.
Witnesses say Mullenix was driving on the shoulder of the road when he hit Maryana Kranz last February.
He has a pre-trial hearing set for next Wednesday.
The girl’s family is suing Mullenix and his insurance company for wrongful death.
