N-B-A Commissioner Adam Silver says he is worried about the integrity of the Orlando “bubble” where the season will resume later this month.
In an interview with Fortune Brainstorm Health, Silver says potential positive COVID-19 cases after a quarantine could reveal a hole in the bubble. The commissioner says that could be problematic.
It isn’t clear if the season would continue in the face of a rash of new positive test results.
The 35-person Milwaukee Bucks traveling party will hit the road for Orlando, Florida later today.
Most of the N-B-A team’s equipment is already on-site, inside the bubble as Walt Disney World’s Wide World of Sports.
The Bucks says it’s possible some of that traveling party will leave later, but the first team practice is already scheduled for Saturday afternoon.
Team officials are trying to make the new space for players feel like home by transplanting many pictures, decorations and other creature comforts from the practice facility at the Fiserv Forum.
