Two Madison teenagers charged with homicide in the deaths of a doctor and her husband last March will be tried separately.
The lawyer for 18-year-old Ali-Jah Larrue had requested the separation and it was granted in a virtual hearing Tuesday.
19-year-old Khari Sanford is thought to have been the shooter, based on information from a friend.
The bodies of Doctor Beth Potter and Robin Carre were found in the U-W Arboretum.
Sanford was reportedly dating their daughter.
