The new Kohler Archives has received a statewide award.
The company decided in 2017 to build a state-of-the-art archives facility, which opened in April of 2019, and that facility has now been honored with the Wisconsin Historical Society’s Archival Achievement Award for this year.
The facility includes display space with varying displays.
The CEO of the state historical society said the Kohler company is committed to the creation and staffing of a corporate archive, including climate-controlled space for storage and exhibit space and programming to preserve and make the history of the Kohler company accessible to employees and others.
