Ticket sellers can’t be certain about the 2020 N-F-L season, leading to fear of what comes next.
The announcement earlier this week that the number of preseason games would be cut in half didn’t help.
A spokesperson for the Connections Ticket Service worries cancellation of regular-season games could be coming next. Other industries are worried, too, because the Greater Green Bay Convention and Visitors Bureau says an average Packers home game brings in about $15 million to the local economy.
If the regular season is canceled, Green Bay misses out on $120 million – a much bigger deal for a city of 105,000 than for a city of eight million people, like New York.
