The very warm temperatures in the lakeshore area recently contributed to the buckling of pavement on State Highway 42 in the city of Two Rivers last night.
The Department of Transportation release indicated the pavement buckle shut down the left lane of northbound traffic on Memorial Drive at Columbus Street starting about 8:30pm.
The D-O-T then issued a follow-up release around 10:30pm, saying the situation was resolved and the traffic lane had been reopened.
