A Manitowoc woman was arrested late Tuesday night after allegedly hitting a man who lived with her with a bag of bricks, and nearly stabbing him.
Officers responded to the apartment complex at 1500 N 3rd Street on a report that a woman was attacked by a male who lived with her. Officers spoke with the woman who claimed the man had left, and was likely on his way to a residence in the 1000 block of Wisconsin Avenue.
Officers found the man at that residence, and he told officers that the woman had hit him with a bag of bricks, and nearly stabbed him twice.
The man received treatment for his injuries at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, while the woman was arrested on a charge of Substantial Battery with a Domestic Violence Order.
