Governor Tony Evers office says there is no written record of authorization for secretly recording a phone with Republican legislative leaders last May.
The governor has promised that no secret recordings will happen again.
A letter from Evers’ office to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel indicates there are no additional recordings of conversations with any Wisconsin lawmakers.
The governor has refused to name the aide who recorded the conversation on May 14th.
