The buyers of The Bull at Pinehurst Farms are hoping that this time things will work out.
According to Wisconsin.Golf.com, the new owners of The Bull, identified as Cedarburg residents John Dunfee and Randy Groth, are the third group to attempt to buy the golf course after the previous owner was found in default to Wisconsin Bank and Trust for loans totaling more than $4.2 million.
Dunfee and Groth bought the only Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Wisconsin for a reported $2.41 million just ahead of a scheduled foreclosure sale by the Sheriff’s Office.
If everything goes according to plan, players can hit the links again sometime in July.
