Gas prices all throughout Eastern Wisconsin continue their upward climb, but none have rebounded as much as the prices in Manitowoc County.
The average price in Manitowoc is now at $2.20 following an 8 cent per gallon increase from last week. This is the highest price in Eastern Wisconsin, only a couple months after they boasted the lowest price in the area.
Sheboygan County meanwhile, is reporting a one penny rise in price to $2.06, and Calumet County had the biggest jump this week of 11 cents to $2.14. Outagamie County saw no change, remaining at an even $2.00, and Brown County’s average price rose by 2 cents to $2.08. In Kewaunee County, motorists are paying an average of $2.11 per gallon, a rise of five cents, and Door County’s price remained even at $2.12.
Eastern Wisconsin counties have been traditionally at or below the state average, but that is not the case for a couple counties, as the state average price is $2.12, which did rise by 2 cents.
However the state average is still slightly below the national average of $2.18, which also jumped up 3 cents.
