Charges have been filed against the 22 year old man who crashed into another vehicle in Green Bay on Sunday, killing all three occupants.
Abdi Ahmed was in Brown County Court yesterday, where he was charged with three counts of Second Degree Reckless Homicide, and is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
Witnesses say that Ahmed was driving his car at a high rate of speed, when he struck a vehicle that was turning into the Kwik Trip on Lombardi Avenue. Police reports indicate Ahmed was driving at a speed between 60 and 90 miles per hour in the 35 mph zone at the time of the crash, and made no attempt to break of change lanes.
The identities of the victims have not yet been released, however a vigil was held in their memory yesterday.
