One of the planners for this summer’s Democratic National Convention says Milwaukee should get another shot at being the host city. The coronavirus pandemic has decimated plans for the event. Khary Penebaker says things just didn’t work out this year. Penebaker, one of this state’s representatives on the Democratic National Committee, appeared on W-I-S-N television’s UPFRONT program Sunday. He says Milwaukee did a lot of hard work and should get another chance at hosting a national convention.
