No one likes being overcharged, and scam artists know this. The most recent one to gain major traction has these scammers sending a text message to or calling their target, claiming to represent the credit card company, saying there is a problem with a recent transaction. They then ask a few questions which they say you need to answer to get your money back. They will then use this information to attempt to get into your online bank account, or other websites. If you believe you are being targeted with this scam, you are encouraged to hang up, and call your banking institution directly.
