Local residents will be able to celebrate July 4th with the Wisconsin Maritime Museum. Executive Director Cathy Green says the museum will be open & offering $4 admission from 10-til-6.
Their Sub Pub roof deck bar, opens at 1pm but after 6:00 o’clock, the Sub Pub will be open to ticket holders only. A $20-dollar ticket includes admission to the museum, a spot on the roof deck all night and a drink ticket. Green said they also have a $50-dollar package available which features museum admission, access to the Sub Pub all evening and a seat on the USS Cobia’s deck during the Festival Foods fireworks show.
Museum members save $5-dollars per ticket. For the health and safety of visitors & staff, face masks will be required for admittance to the museum and submarine but will not be a requirement while on the roof deck or while watching the fireworks from the Cobia.
Green explained their 3-month closure really forced them to look for new ways to connect with the community.
