Six months after his last visit, President Donald Trump found a much-different Wisconsin waiting for him Thursday.
The president took a private tour of Fincantieri Marinette Marine shipyard after recording a town hall meeting at Austin Straubel International Airport in Green Bay.
Northeastern Wisconsin helped push the president over the top with their support in 2016 and this is still considered a battleground state.
The president talked about one of his favorite topics – jobs – noting a U-S Navy contract for the Marinette shipbuilding company could mean up to a thousand new positions. It’s worth $5.6 billion.
