The time has come once again for the Manitowoc Police Department to hold their annual Bicycle and Property Auction.
Throughout the year, the MPD collects numerous bicycles and other items of personal property which has been abandoned. As per Wisconsin statute, the Police Department must hold on to these items for at least 90 days before either disposing of them or putting them up for auction.
This year’s auction will take place Saturday at the Public Safety Building, with the viewing of the items beginning at 8:00 AM, and bidding kicking off at 9:00 AM.
All items must be paid for in full on the day of the auction and only cash and good Wisconsin checks will be accepted.
