A crash on Sheboygan’s south side Tuesday night resulted in two people being transported to local hospitals.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred at around 6:20 PM near the intersection of 13th Street and Clara Avenue, with the driver of one vehicle slamming into a parked car.
The mobile vehicle flipped onto its side in the accident, resulting in the male driver receiving minor injuries which were treated at St. Nicholas Hospital, while the female passenger was treated at Memorial Hospital.
The driver claimed the crash was caused by a mechanical issue, but he was cited for Operating with a Controlled Substance, Possessing Marijuana, and Inattentive Driving.
