A 22-year-old Wood County woman goes on trial next March for allegedly killing her infant son.
Marylinn Feher is charged with first-degree intentional homicide and child neglect causing death.
Prosecutors say Feher strangled the child after giving birth at home, then she and her boyfriend Allen Rice put the boy in a plastic bag and went to Marshfield Medical Center.
They left the body in the car while hospital staff checked out the mother.
Feher and Rice say they were too afraid to bring the child with them into the emergency room.
