The 60-game Major League Baseball season starting next month could be just the right length for the Milwaukee Brewers.
During the 2019 season, at the 60-game mark, the Brewers had a record of 34-and-26, good for first place in the National League Central Division. At that time, the Brew Crew was a game-and-a-half ahead of second-place Chicago.
A repeat of that performance would put Milwaukee in the playoffs with a number-two seed.
Rules will be so different in this year’s shortened season, it’s hard to make any reasonable comparisons.
Last year’s World Series Champion Washington Nationals wouldn’t have even qualified for the postseason based on their June 2nd won-loss record.
