Former Governor Tommy Thompson has set up a transition team for the University of Wisconsin System.
Thompson will take over as interim president Monday.
Former Assembly Speaker Tom Loftus and former state Department of Administration Secretary Scott Neitzel will be co-chairs. Loftus is a Democrat and Neitzel is a Republican.
Thompson is asking the team to develop information on the System’s budget and organizational structure.
He was tabbed for the position while a nationwide search for a new president is restarted.
